Information we collect

Account information: the email address you sign up with (and, if you use Google sign-in, the basic profile Google shares). If you create a public profile, the display name, @handle and bio you choose.

Content you add: your trades, journal entries, readiness checks, weekly analyses, notes, tags and any chart screenshots you upload.

Preferences: basic technical settings needed to run the app, such as your language and theme (stored in cookies).

How we use your information

To provide and operate EdgeLog — to store your journal, compute your analytics, and show you your own data.

To generate AI coaching reviews when you request them.

To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Third-party services

Supabase provides our authentication, database and file storage; your account and content are stored there.

Google Gemini powers the optional AI features. When you generate a review, the relevant trade, journal and readiness data — and any chart images you include — is sent to Google to produce the response. On free API tiers, providers may process this input to improve their own services, so only use AI features on data you are comfortable sharing.

Vercel hosts the application.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

Cookies

EdgeLog uses only essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and small preferences for your language and theme. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention and your choices

You can view, edit and delete your trades, journal entries and other content at any time from within the app.

You can request deletion of your account and its associated data by contacting us.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including access controls that scope every record to its owner. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

EdgeLog is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
